Usual Faults and Repairing Methods of CCD Camera

This article is about the usual faults and repairing methods of CCD camera.
1, Bad image in low illumination, white or light white aperture phenomenon occurs on Infrared dome CCD cameras.
This phenomenon is the result of improper machine assembling of sensitive device (photosensitive resistance) and hemisphere hood. This can lead to infrared lamp not completely work, so that the image in low illumination is poor. The white or light white aperture phenomenon is mainly caused by the reflection of the infrared ray by the hemisphere hood. To solve this phenomenon is to avoid letting the infrared ray refraction to lens surface, usually using sponge coil around lens to separate the lens and the infrared lights. The sponge coil must be firmly adhesive the hemisphere hood.
2, Night vision waterproof CCD cameras do not have satisfied image which is too white at night while work normally in daytime.
This phenomenon is commonly caused by reflecting objects, such as mirror, smooth metal panel or installation in a small room. To solve this phenomenon we should check if there are reflecting objects in the environment and make sure these objects are removed. If the room is too small, the image will be also too white, so make sure the distance of the surveillance scope not too small.

3, No image
First of all check plus power to see if it looses and the voltage is between the allowance voltages (DC12V plus or minus 10%, AC24V plus or minus 5%). Secondly check the video cable to see if it s connected the right way and firmly. The third, check the manual iris. Only the iris is open, the CCD cameras are able to work. And for the auto iris, the LEVEL electric position must be at the right place.
