The Image Sensor of CCTV Camera

As we all know that there are mainly two kinds of CCTV camera image sensor on the market, which are CCD and CMOS. For the CCD, the most common ones we usually see are the Sony CCD, Sharp CCD, A1, and so on. Of course besides that we also should not forget about the CMOS.

But which one is the best.or better. Actually they all have their own advantages.

For the Sony CCD, we usually think it is the best image sensor for CCTV Cameras. The reason is that their image colour is more shrp and its function is more steady. People will feel that their image is more true than others.But it has their distanges which is it is more expensive than others. Now on the market, most of CCTV Cameras would like to choose the Sony CCD.

As about the Sharp CCD, it is also good in image colour and steady function. But compared with the Sony CCD, it is not so good as Sony. Sure, it has its advantage, it is cheaper than Sony.

The last we have to say that CMOS now is becoming more and more popular. When we use it with the IR-CUT, their advantages will become very obvious. It has good image and cheap price. So people are like it more than before.
