Do you konw what the twisted pair transmission(Video Balum) for the security camera?
It is a new technology in the recent years. Then what is twisted pair transmission? It is usually common network wire. This technology refers to differential transmission principle. The end equipment is called Video Balum. This equipment transmits the video signals into other signals of the same wave, but opposite polarities. After transmission, the receiver compares the signals of opposite polarities and makes them into normal video signals. This equipment can low down the common mode interference by much, even in the intense interference environment. And the quality of video which is transmitted by Video Balum is better than traditional way.
When choose video balums and wires for the security camera, pay attention to:
1.Choose the qualified wires. There are 8 wires as a group. The resistance the each wire must be lower than 15 ohm/100m.
2.If the distance of transmission is less than 150M, we can choose passive balums. If the distance is within 650M, we can choose passive balums at the frond side, and positive balums at the end side. If the distance is between 650M to 1500M, we have to choose positive balums at both ends.
3.If we set up network outdoor, it is better to choose water-resist wires, although they are more expensive.
