A case of CCTV Camera Faults

As we know, when our customers use the CCTV Camera, it might be have some problems that make them troubled. Below is the common cctvcamrea faults from my customers and how we solve it.

1.      The DVR can not control the Address of PTZ cameras.

One of my customers told me that he has 1 problem with the ptz ,as they are only working as ptz 1. if i put on dip switch 2 on the 10 row the ptz is not taking the address. it only working on dip switch 1. I have tried different dip switches put no change. Their are only working on ptz 1.

Then I tell him that we have two ways to control the address of PTZs,

A.hardware address,we have to choose  the hardware address(not the software address)in the PTZ cameras menu before you change their DIP switch,and the PTZ address should set separately one by one before you connect them to the DVR or Keyboard(do you use keyboard?);not at the same time,

B software address,we can set their software address from keyboard or DVR,you can have try.it's easier set than from DIP switch.

2.      The cctv camera no image on the screen.

Last time my customer bought the IR dome camera from our factory, but when he tested it, he told me that camera no image. He sent me photo of CCTV System. I asked him to check the following things carefully

A.      the power supply DC 12V 1A..  whether it is not connected well. And Voltage is enough and right Power standard.

B.      the BNC connector connect well or not

C.      CCD board and DSP of cctv camera has problems, so it can not work and no image

D.     CCTV cables has problems…
